When I left New Zealand over 10 years ago, I never imagined in my weirdest or wildest dreams that I would end up working in this amazing place. I will always remember how I got hooked to the industry, how the little things like a good bit of chat and good drink can really shed life’s little problems even if just for a moment.
I’ve worked in hospitality with many people and venues and across more than one continent, and I can truly say ICEBAR LONDON is by far the best place I have been associated with.
It’s a one of a kind venue, not just because of the uniqueness of being made from ice, but also for the perfect mix of people in the ICEBAR family who care deeply about what they do, and work hard to ensure that every person who visits us for an ICEBAR experience leaves with happy memories of a special venue.

I am proud to have been part of this special venue since it’s creation in 2005. Prior to this I had been fine-tuning my hospitality skills working as a restaurant manager in New York City for top restaurateur, Danny Meyer. The character of Monica from ‘Friends’ could have been modelled on me and whilst my Monica-esque traits might slightly scare friends and family, for our event clients they are nothing but an asset and result in impeccably organized events from start to finish! When I’m not running events at ICEBAR LONDON, I can be found running around after my 2 young children in the Kent countryside!
I enjoy delivering memorable and inspiring events of all sorts and have a lively imagination that never stops working to create events that sparkle. Away from work, I love pitchers of frozen margaritas, artisanal cheese boards, weekends away, trying new openings on the restaurant and bar scene and taking inspiration from London’s incredible architecture and art galleries.
Working in the events department at ICEBAR LONDON is dream job for any event professional. I enjoy working on all kinds of events from private dinners through to launch events and large corporate parties and love getting glowing feedback from my clients. Outside of ICEBAR LONDON, I like to head to the West End to indulge my passion for London’s prestigous theatre culture. I also like to travel whenever I can.

I started as a junior reservationist during the busy Christmas season helping out for a couple of months but fell in love with the fantastic venue and amazing team. No day is the same here; I learn something new and meet interesting people every day. It’s always busy and fun and I really enjoy it! Apart from my fabulous job, I love travelling, dancing and spending quiet evenings with a good cup of aromatic tea and fancy cake on my little ‘hidden-from-everybody’ London terrace.
I’ve worked for The ICEBAR LONDON for 7 years and the buzz of working in this industry is still as rewarding as the day I started.
The experience of watching the venue change and grow over the years has been fantastic, and a big part of that is the different designs of the ICEBAR that are launched every year, and I’m always impressed by the work the ice artist team create every year. On a recent trip to Northern Sweden I had the opportunity to see the ice being harvested directly from the frozen Torne River, went husky-sledging and rode snow mobiles and, of course, spent a night in the iconic ICE HOTEL itself.
I moved to London from Capri which is a beautiful island in the south of Italy to become the “coolest” bar manager in London. I love working in this environment but I do need to spend some time in the Caribbean, at least once a year, to feel warm and where I can drink as many mojitos as I want.
I joined ICEBAR LONDON in 2014 as part of the Host & Reservations team.
Customer service and guest satisfaction are a vital part of any business, and especially one as unique and popular as the ICEBAR, and I built up my experience working for Disney World Florida amongst other venues before coming to London.
Now working as Restaurant Manager for the ICEBAR I’m looking forward to leading our dedicated team to deliver fantastic experiences and a friendly welcome to all our guests.
I started my journey in this industry in Finland 6 years ago; I worked as a bar back in a nightclub and slowly just worked my way up as I fell in love with hospitality. I’ve always been very passionate about my work, dedicated and hard working but also very humble, always respecting everyone I work with. ICEBAR London family is a fantastic group of individually talented people and I genuinely enjoy my days working in this unique and literally cool venue!
