FAQ's

DO YOU HAVE STROBE AND LIGHTING EFFECTS?

Yes, the ICEBAR Experience makes use of specific strobe and lighting effects in its ice themes every year and warning signs for those who might be adversely affected are in place. The venue’s warm spaces do not make use of strobe or other lighting effects.

We recommend contacting our Reservations Team with any specific health-related queries on 020 7478 8910 prior to making a booking.

WHERE IS THE ICEBAR LOCATED?

ICEBAR London is located 31-33 Heddon Street in Mayfair, and just off Regent Street.

Our nearest Tube Stations are Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus. MAP

ARE YOU OPEN ALL YEAR?

Yes, we are the UK’s only permanent ICEBAR Experience, and we’re open seven days a week across the year apart from 25th December and for planned closure periods when we redesign and install a new ice theme.

WHAT’S YOUR AGE POLICY?

Valid ID may be required. ICEBAR London operates a challenge 25 policy. Anyone appearing to be under 25 will be asked to prove they are aged 18 or over when buying tickets or alcohol.

Minors are welcome to join us during our daytime sessions when accompanied by a responsible adult e.g. parent or guardian. Sunday entry is available all day, Monday to Saturday last ICEBAR entry is 18:30, after which the age limit is strictly 18 and older. Children nine years old and over will require a separate ticket and will be served a non-alcoholic ice cocktail.

We offer free entry to children eight years old and under, but drinks will need to be purchased separately. Management reserves the right to refuse entrance if guests are intoxicated, underage or unable to prove their age.

HOW DO I BOOK FOR A LARGE GROUP (9+ PEOPLE)?

You can make advance bookings online for the ICEBAR Experience or ICEBAR & Dining for groups of up to 8 people.

IS ICEBAR LONDON ACCESSIBLE?

The ground floor of the venue including the ICEBAR Experience and FIREBAR cocktail bar is step free and wheelchair-friendly. The restaurant however is located in the basement and only accessible via our stairwell. Dining options can be served in our Cocktail Bar if requested in advance. Dedicated disabled toilet facilities with wheelchair accessible doorway, grab rails and easy to use taps are located on the ground floor immediately adjacent to our Cocktail Bar area. Our Host and Reservations team can be contacted via phone and email 020 7478 8910 and res@belowzerolondon.com. The team are happy to assist with special requests and advance bookings, for instance reserving space for wheelchair users, and we offer a complimentary entry-only ticket to carers for the ICEBAR Experience.

HOW DO I GET MY ICEBAR TICKET?

Tickets for the ICEBAR Experience can be collected from the main venue welcome desk before your timeslot on the day of your visit.

If you have booked in advance you will have been sent a confirmation to your email address. Tickets are only issued on arrival and are exchanged inside the ICEBAR Experience for the drink or drinks included with your ticket type.

DO I HAVE TO QUEUE?

ICEBAR Experience sessions start at fixed times across the day, and there may be a short queue along with your fellow guests while we provide you with capes and welcome each group into the ICEBAR.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY BOOKING?

Tickets may be exchanged for different dates and times during our current booking period and subject to availability.

We require  a minimum of 48 hours advance notice (72 hours for October, November and December) and you are able to change your reservation up to two times. We do not charge a fee for changes to bookings.

If you need to reduce the number of people in your booking we can credit the ticket costs against any food or beverage purchases made on the day of your visit.

If you know you are going to be late on the day of your visit, please call us on 020 7478 8910 and we will do our best to try and book you into a later available session on the same day.

Please note we do not offer refunds for cancelled bookings or where guests have failed to attend.

CAN I KEEP MY ICE GLASS?

Okay, so we do occasionally see people trying to smuggle our ice glasses out of the bar, but we’ve yet to see anyone make them last for very long once outside and we wouldn’t really recommend it.
